Master of Science in Plant Breeding(National Agrarian University La Molina, 1991), PhD in Sustainable Agriculture (National Agrarian University La Molina, 2024). Professional experience in Agricultural Extension, Research and Innovation for more than 42 years in Latin America, Africa and Asia. From 2022 to date, consultant in Agricultural Research, from 2023 to date Research Project Coordinator at PROCIENCIA - CONCYTEC, Peru; From 1989 to 2022, Senior Research Associate at the International Potato Center (CIP) and from 1981-1989 Researcher at INIA, Peru. Since 2006 to date I have been a member of Technical Evaluation Panels (PET) as an evaluator and external supervisor of research, extension, innovation, productive projects, master's scholarships, national and international internships, publications presented for funding to CONCYTEC, FONDECyT, INNOVATEPERU, FONDEOEMPLEO, PNIA and PNIPA, Reviewer of scientific articles for publication in journals. Speaker at National and International Courses and Conferences in Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, Bolivia, Venezuela, Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, India, Nepal, Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda. Author of various scientific articles in indexed journals. Medal of Honor and Diploma awarded by the Peruvian Government in 2018, in recognition of his contributions to research and technological development in potato cultivation in Peru. Winner of the 2020 CARAL competition in the Food and Nutrition Security Innovation Projects category. Winner of the first technical paper competition held by AGROMIN PERU in 2021.
