Dr. Filipa Mandim completed her international PhD degree in Pharmacy and Health from the University of Salamanca. She has published more than 40 articles in journals indexed to ISI. She was also part of the organizing committee of 3 events and participated in 50 scientific events (workshops, congresses, seminars, and webinars). She supports the laboratory in conducting in vitro assays to evaluate the cellular antioxidant capacity, and anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor activity of samples of natural and synthetic origin, accompanying students in performing them and processing the results. Her research interests mainly include natural products, medicinal chemistry, bioactive compounds, functional foods, natural matrices, and functional ingredients
