More than 25 years’ experience in teaching graduate and undergraduate level courses and mentoring graduate students, namely in the areas of Microbiology, Public health and Management Systems (ISO 9001; ISO 14001; ISO 45001; ISO 2220; ISO 17025, ISO 15189). Special interest in food and water safety/hygiene with due emphasis on food and water microbiology; foodborne and waterborne pathogens, antimicrobials, spoilage, HACCP and sanitation. Impact of the latter on food and water quality, occupational health, and public health are aspects of interest within the one health approach.
