Dr. Muhammad Saqib is Assistant Professor in Department of Horticulture, University of
Agriculture, D I Khan, Pakistan. He is also serving as the Incharge of his Department, as well as
the Manager Research and Internship of the University.
He completed his PhD in 2021 with specialization in crop modeling of vegetables. He has
specialized in vegetable crop production as well as tunnel farming, water and nutrient
management, fruit orchard establishment, its propagation and management. He got six months
training on Decision Support System for Agrotechnology Transfer (DSSAT), one of the most
popular crop modeling systems across the world from Agricultural and Biological Engineering
Department, at the University of Florida, USA. He has published fifteen scientific papers in
refereed journals as well as four book chapters.
