Dr. Tharwat Mamdouh Al-Bataineh is a distinguished veterinary specialist and international regulatory expert with over 20 years of experience in animal health, food safety, and halal assurance. She holds a Master’s degree in Veterinary Microbiology from Jordan University of Science and Technology and a Diploma in Halal Food Auditing from the University of Dubai and EIAC. Dr. Al-Bataineh has served as a Specialist Veterinary Doctor at the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, contributing to veterinary regulation, food safety systems, CITES compliance, risk management, and the UAE One Health initiative. As a freelance International Regulatory Expert, she conducts halal certification audits, HACCP and ISO compliance assessments, and animal welfare inspections worldwide. She is an active speaker at global conferences, including the Dubai International Food Safety Conference and the European Halal Congress. Her work bridges science, sustainability, and halal integrity, promoting safe, ethical, and innovative food systems globally.
